Due to the deeply sensitive and personal nature of the content in this film, Suzi and Simon have kindly agreed to allow me to share this to inspire others that no matter how life hard gets, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Mental health and wedding: It’s not everyday that a taboo subject is mixed with the happiest day of your life. But with Suzi and Simon’s wedding earlier this year, there comes a very powerful back story with a beautiful outcome. I don’t usually break easily during emotional speeches, but this one got to me. When you watch this short film, make sure you watch it all – especially the middle section – and you will understand what I am talking about. Suzi and Simon are up there as one of the most loveliest, open and fun-loving couples I have had the pleasure of filming. Their misfortunes in the past made them stronger today – and it’s truly inspiring. Whilst the point I’m making is centric to the story of their day, wrapped around it is lots of love and laughter – and maybe the bride & grooms son playing a very open version of heads and tails.
